In-Home Caregiver
Job DescriptionSalary:
13-15 HourlyThis is a part-time in-home caregiver position.
Shifts are 4 hour minimum and the number of hours can vary depending on the client.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesHelping patient with activities of daily living, such as dressing or taking a bathLight housekeeping, such as vacuuming or doing laundryGrocery shopping and cooking mealsTaking patients' vital signs or giving them medicine under a nurse's directionScheduling doctor's appointments or other meetings and organizing transportationRecording and reporting to nurses about the patient's health statusTeaching patient self-care skillsDesired Skills and QualificationsTrustworthy and dependableCurrent and valid CNA/HHA certification and/or CPR certificationAbility to lift a minimum of 50 poundsStrong patient service skillsAttention to detail and ability to carefully follow protocols and rules regarding the patient's careAbility to address minor medical issuesAvailability to work evenings, holidays and weekends.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
